Chateau Neercane

At the beginning of spring 2024, Château Neercanne opens an exciting new chapter. Seven elegant suites will soon enrich the historic walls of this jewel of the Oostwegel Collection.

What makes the whole thing so special? Well, these new guest rooms are a real work of art, created by the resourceful Amsterdam designer Roelfien Vos. It has managed to combine the best of two worlds: modern elegance and the unmistakable flair that only a place with history can exude. In short, a stay at Château Neercanne becomes even more magical with these suites.

A journey through time and style

Picturesquely situated in Maastricht, Château Neercanne not only impresses with its Michelin-starred restaurant, but also with L’Auberge, which has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand. Now seven carefully furnished suites above the L’Auberge have been added to the offer. Roelfien Vos has mastered the art of creating an atmosphere that captivates with its attention to detail and the combination of design and history. Inspired by the history and picturesque landscape of the Limburg Jeker Valley, these rooms offer an unrivalled retreat.

Camille Oostwegel, the visionary mind behind the Oostwegel Collection, emphasises the importance of this project as a long-awaited dream that is now becoming a reality. With the introduction of the Superior Garden Suite and the Deluxe Garden Suite, Château Neercanne is demonstrating its ambition to offer its guests an experience that goes far beyond the ordinary.

Sustainability and cultural heritage go hand in hand

With the restoration and extension, Château Neercanne is sending a strong signal for the future. Through extensive renovation work, including the renewal of the slate roofs and the modernisation of the kitchen of L’Auberge into a completely gas-free operation, the Château is demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and the protection of cultural heritage. These steps emphasise the château’s philosophy of harmoniously combining tradition and progress.

A culinary and sensual experience

A stay at Château Neercanne is an invitation to enter a world full of culinary highlights and sensual pleasures. The unique combination of excellent hospitality, an ambience steeped in history and the new suite extension promises unforgettable moments.
