Oberstdorf spring: experience two seasons in one trip

Enjoy the superbly groomed slopes at alpine heights in the morning and discover the valleys in the afternoon in hiking boots in the soothing sunshine? In Oberstdorf this is possible until the beginning of May. Guests experience two seasons at the same time on the northern edge of the Allgäu Alps. While spring arrives in the valley and spring flowers blossom, the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal ski region offers winter delights for all ages and abilities.

Spring offers on the Nebelhorn

The Nebelhorn, Oberstdorf’s local mountain, still offers fantastic skiing experiences in a snow-covered mountain world until the beginning of May. For spontaneous vacationers Oberstdorf offers an exclusive offer during the Sun Ski Weeks until May 1: From three nights at participating hosts, a three-day ski pass is available at discounted prices.

Hiker’s paradise Oberstdorf in spring

Oberstdorf is known for its wonderful hiking opportunities, especially in spring when crocuses and primroses bloom. The Four Rivers Tour offers pleasure hikers a varied and family-friendly route. The hike owes its name to the mountain streams Trettach, Stillach and Breitach as well as the Iller, where they all flow together.

Cycling tours through the picturesque countryside

For cyclists, there are a variety of tours of different levels of difficulty in and around Oberstdorf. The 15-kilometer Trettach Valley bike tour leads from the mill bridge along the Trettach River in the direction of Dietersberg. The striking Trettachspitze accompanies the tour, which eventually leads to the clear Christlesee before returning to the starting point.

In the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal ski region, winter sports fans can still take their turns on the Nebelhorn until the beginning of May. Here, a deeply snow-covered mountain landscape and excellently groomed slopes for all ages await you. The new 10-seater gondola takes guests to the Höfatsblick mountain station, where a breathtaking panoramic view of over 400 peaks awaits. Around 55 kilometers of slopes offer pure fun for skiers and snowboarders.

Sun ski weeks until 1 May

The sunshine ski weeks are bookable until May 1 and allow for an enjoyable end to the season. From three nights with a participating host, vacationers can add a three-day ski pass at an exclusive price. The offer can be extended up to seven nights with a six-day ski pass.

Spring awakening in the valley and on the hiking trails

While the skiing fun continues on the heights, spring arrives in the valley. The hiking trails invite you to take relaxing walks, enjoying the beauty of nature and the warming rays of the sun.
