Discovery tour through the South African wine regions
To find the most outstanding grape varieties in South Africa for their collection, Beachcomber’s sommeliers undertook a journey of several weeks through the Western Cape wine region. They visited the Swartland region, known for its premium white wines, the Elgin Valley, the famous Stellenbosch wine country, and the slopes of the Helderberg and Hemel-en-Aarde valleys. The Beachcomber Sommelier’s Selection thus represents the impressive diversity of the South African wine landscape.
