The 49th season of Europa-Park has started with more than 100 attractions and shows. One of the many innovations this year is the opening of the 16th themed area – the Liechtenstein Prince’s Tower. Here the balloon ride returns in a new guise and offers visitors an impressive experience. Visitors can look forward to a unique discovery tour through the 16 European themed areas. Typical architecture, gastronomy and great attention to detail invite you to a distinctive journey. Attractions like the “Fjord Rafting” or the “Tyrolean White Water Raft” guarantee a refreshing cool down.
Fast-paced rides for adrenaline junkies
For those who want to go a little faster, the “blue fire Megacoaster” with a speed of 100 km/h provides a breath of fresh air. The 40-meter high wooden roller coaster “WODAN – Timburcoaster” is another highlight for adrenaline lovers.
Liechtenstein ballooning and other innovations
The new themed area Liechtenstein is located between Switzerland and England and delights with the “Liechtenstein balloon ride”. This revamped attraction is a classic at Europa-Park, having first opened in 1996. Another highlight is the “Liechtensteiner Platz” with the large coat of arms of the Principality.
The romantic boat trip “Josefina’s Imperial Magic Journey” in the Austrian themed area invites you to enjoy the first rays of sunshine. The Dreamtime Dome is all about anticipation for the new Croatian themed area, showing the 360-degree film “Nikola Tesla’s Beautiful Croatia.”
Spectacular shows for show lovers
The artists will provide unforgettable highlights in the Europa-Park season 2023, with breathtaking shows. The ice skaters of “Surpr’Ice presents GalaXia” delight with LED lighting in costume. Other highlights include the new edition of “Ed’s Adventure Parade”, the thrilling spectacle “The Return of the Sultan” with bravura stunts on horses, the amazing magic of “SECRET – The Illusion Show” with Vincent Vignaud at Europa-Park Teatro and the daredevil jumps at the High Diving Show “Retorno dos Piratas” from May 27 to September 3.
The Rulantica Water World and the New Northern Tournament
For even more vacation feeling, a visit to the Rulantica water world. The new area “Nordiskturn” guarantees slide fun with competition character, especially the racing slide “Vikingløp” built on a sparkling gemstone mine. A total of eight tube slides are available for competitive rivals to race each other down.
YULLBE PRO Experience “Amber Blake: Operation Dragonfly”
The new YULLBE PRO Experience “Amber Blake: Operation Dragonfly” offers guests an interactive 3D action thriller. The 30-minute virtual reality experience is based on the comic series “Amber Blake” by Belgian supermodel Jade Lagardère and thrills with state-of-the-art technology and a nerve-racking adventure in front of the impressive Singapore skyline.
The Talent Academy moves and expands
In the fall, the Talent Academy will move into the former EPSports Store building, which will be extensively remodeled and renovated by then. The expansion to over 2000 square meters brings with it a relaunch of the brand. With seven modern studios, each area of the Talent Academy – Art, Acrobatics, Dance, Music – gets its own professionally equipped space. Another new feature is the Mindset section.
“Eatrenalin” – the futuristic gastronomy experience for all senses
An absolute highlight is “Eatrenalin,” a futuristic gastronomic experience that immerses guests in a wide variety of worlds – not only through scents and tastes, but also visually, acoustically and haptically. This is made possible by an impressive interplay of multimedia content, top gastronomic performance and a patented new development, the Floating Chair from MACK Rides. Guests are treated to an eight-course menu that combines modern and international influences.
