A vibrant fusion of style and innovation, Moxy Sydney Airport sets new standards in the Australian hotel industry. From the captivating façade to the unconventional offerings inside: Immerse yourself in the exciting story of the hotel making its debut in Australia.

The combination of location and luxury

Moxy Sydney Airport is strategically located in Mascot, a suburb in Sydney’s south, making it an ideal base for travellers. Just a ten-minute drive from Sydney International Airport, the hotel also offers quick access to Sydney’s vibrant city centre and major attractions.

“We are very excited to further expand our global portfolio and introduce the dynamic Moxy brand to Australia with the opening of Moxy Sydney Airport,” said Matthew Boettcher, Vice President and Global Brand Leader of Moxy Hotels.

A design that surprises

The inspiration for Moxy Sydney Airport’s modern interior comes from Mascot’s industrial and art deco heritage. The renowned Canadian interior design team MAED. COLLECTIVE has enriched the space with creative details. The mural by Elliott Routledge on the façade is also striking, drawing attention and underlining the hotel’s artistic energy. Inside, visitors can expect a sculpture by Routledge that embodies Moxy’s “Play On” spirit.

A nostalgic experience in the lobby

The lobby, which combines elements of a converted warehouse with exposed ceilings and wrought-iron beams, pays homage to Mascot’s historic factory buildings. Here, the hotel bar serves as a central meeting point where guests are welcomed with a “Get Moxy” cocktail. The experience is rounded off by the Living Room, which scores with vintage lounge chairs and a photobooth from the 70s.

The Moxy Bar and Little Baxter: culinary centrepiece

During the day, the Moxy Bar offers space to work and network. But after dark, it transforms into a lively hangout that attracts Sydney’s top DJs and night owls. In addition to Australian street food, you can enjoy fine wines, cocktails and local beers here. Paying homage to the Australian “Milk bar“, the Little Baxter street café serves delicious snacks and Double Roasters’ renowned coffee.
