City Check-in Emirates Dubai: Revolutionary Travel Experience

Emirates

Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, recently opened an innovative City Check-in and Travel Store at the prestigious Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). This facility allows travelers to conveniently book trips, check in for flights, check luggage and purchase travel supplies to save valuable time at the airport. The state-of-the-art service is located in DIFC’s Brookfield Place ICD.

Sara – the world’s first robot check-in assistant

A special feature of City Check-in is the introduction of “Sara,” the world’s first portable robotic check-in system. Sara can match faces with scanned passports, check in passengers and guide them to the baggage claim area, making the check-in process smoother and more efficient.

City Check-in Emirates Dubai: Comprehensive advice and service for travelers

At Emirates’ new City Check-in and Travel Store, visitors receive expert advice and the latest destination deals. Staff will assist with purchasing tickets for future travel, managing existing bookings, purchasing upgrades, selecting preferred seating and organizing additional baggage.

Exclusive benefits and offers at ICD Brookfield Place

Travelers with a valid Emirates boarding pass can enjoy complimentary access to select lifestyle amenities at ICD Brookfield Place and receive exclusive discounts and special offers at various restaurants, gyms and luxury stores. The area surrounding the DIFC offers a diverse array of services, shopping, culinary experiences and art galleries, including the DIFC’s expansive Gate Avenue promenade.

Convenient connection to the airport

As the flight approaches, passengers can take a cab or Emirates chauffeur service directly to the airport. Alternatively, the airport can be easily reached via the nearby Financial Centre subway station.

Home check-in service for more convenience

In addition to city check-in, Emirates offers a home check-in service in Dubai and Sharjah, operated by technology start-up DUBZ. DUBZ agents handle check-in at the client’s home, hotel or office and transport luggage to the flight. The service must be booked and paid for at least 24 hours before the flight, and passengers can go to airport check-in up to six hours before departure. For First Class passengers, the home check-in service is free of charge.
