Already in his childhood, Soenil Bahadoer was inspired by his mother’s Surinamese cooking. With his restaurant De Lindehof in Nuenen, which opened in 1995 and was awarded two Michelin stars, he set new standards in the culinary world. In 2015, Bahadoer was crowned the first SVH Masterchef with Surinamese roots in the Netherlands and Belgium. He is particularly influenced by Surinamese, Chinese, Javanese and Creole cultures and is known for his use of exotic spices.

These treats kick off on 25 October with a curated five-course menu at Velaa Bar + Grill. But this is just the beginning of a journey that ranges from a picnic brunch on the private island of Bodu Finolhu to a sunset soirée on Riviera Beach and a private cooking event. The highlight?
