Ortner’s Resort

Ortner’s Resort, a jewel on the outskirts of Bad Füssing, combines casual 5-star luxury with an unrivalled spring awakening.

Spring finds its true expression in Bavaria’s largest hotel and spa resort, which is known far beyond the state’s borders for its excellent spa and wellness offers. The Ortner family, passionate hosts for generations, have created a thermal world that is characterized not only by its opulent design, but also by the healing power of its warm water, which bubbles up from a depth of 960 metres.

An oasis of relaxation and activity

Every day, 100,000 litres of healing spring water pour into six pools, spread over a water surface of 400 square metres, whose temperatures of a soothing 32 to 37 degrees Celsius tempt you to pause for a moment. From dawn to dusk, the resort unfolds an unrivalled bathing ceremony with its enchanting luminescent scenes. But the sauna experience at Ortner’s Resort is also unique with its twelve hours of daily opening hours and hourly infusions in the event sauna.

The detailed design of the thermal world, in which golden pillars, mirrors and old wood meet the anthracite of a stone wall and the deep blue thermal water, is reminiscent of the colourful splendour of 1001 Nights, but always remains contemporary and stylish.

Diversity in rest and activity

In addition to relaxation in the water and in the sauna, Ortner’s Resort offers a variety of options for personal time-out. The wood-framed lounging niches, the spa treatment rooms with their imaginative selection of treatments or the romantic daybeds by the large organic swimming pond are just some of the retreats that the resort offers its guests.

When the days get warmer, the organic swimming pond with crystal-clear water and the numerous outdoor favourite spots such as cabanas on the sun decks, floating loungers in the fruit tree garden and seating lounges in the reading garden invite you to enjoy the sun.

Spring on the doorstep

Ortner’s Resort is the perfect starting point for exploring the Lower Bavarian hills. Whether Nordic walking in the nearby forest, biking along the Inn and Danube with the resort’s free e-bikes or on a tour to the baroque three-river city of Passau – the area around Bad Füssing offers a wide range of options for active holidaymakers. Golfers and tennis players also get their money’s worth here, especially thanks to the new co-operation with the Golf Resort Bad Griesbach.

The Ortner’s Resort is therefore not only an oasis of relaxation and casual luxury, but also an ideal starting point for active explorations in the springtime nature of Bavaria.
