The DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm has opened
Strategically positioned within walking distance of the world-famous Kurfürstendamm and immediately adjacent to picturesque Los Angeles Square, the DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm welcomes guests. It has the pride of being the first hotel of the Hilton sub-brand in Berlin and the third in the whole of Germany. Not only the excellent location, but also the impressive guest list, which includes names like Madonna, Tina Turner, Alice Cooper and Marlon Brando, testify to the impressive history of this house.
A new era under the Blackstone Group
The already established hotel building experienced a renaissance in 2019 when it was acquired by the American Blackstone Group, a global giant in the field of alternative investments. With Cologne-based Event Hotels as operators, thus expanding their portfolio in Berlin to five properties, the hotel opened a new chapter.
DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm: Unique design meets luxury
Responsible for the stunning yet bold design is the award-winning design studio Virserius Studio NY, led by sisters Therese and Regina Virserius. With 420 rooms, including 15 suites, and a conference area of over 800 square meters, the hotel has established itself as one of the largest hotels in the city.
Culinary excellence and sustainable goals at the DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm
The hotel’s own restaurant with its 260 seats offers unique culinary experiences. Under the direction of chefs Alexandre Castelain and sous chef Moritz Ehrlich, it offers a mix of Berlin-style regional German cuisine and ambitious sustainability goals. A special feature is the currently only organic breakfast buffet in Berlin, which the hotel offers.

What makes the hotel special: the top location, the sustainable approach that is lived in all areas of the hotel. With an event area of over 800 square meters, the new hotel is one of the largest conference hotels in the city.
Eleven divisible and soundproofed function rooms, mostly with daylight, are designed for up to 500 people. They are all located on the second floor. The ballroom, as the largest room, measures 450 square meters. The smallest room with 15 square meters is ideal for board meetings of all kinds for up to seven people. The light-flooded foyer welcomes with a wonderful view of the park in front of the hotel and casual seating for creative coffee and tea breaks. Interesting for personalities from politics, film and television, but also for corporate events of all kinds: The event area can be reached via a separate entrance if desired. There is also the possibility to rent the entire floor exclusively.
A passionate team for exceptional service
Under the management of Hannes Dreher, a dedicated team of 80 employees and 15 trainees strive to make the guests’ stay unforgettable. The team consists of long-time employees and fresh lateral hires, who together create the unique ambience of the DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm.
In the rooms, in the conference hall or in the building services – sustainability ensures change throughout the DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm. Reusable products are used everywhere. The photovoltaic system on the roof provides electricity and heat. A bee colony has also moved in there to produce honey for the hotel’s own restaurant.
