Emirates experiences record-breaking summer
The world-famous airline “Emirates” is experiencing one of the busiest summers in its history. With an impressive number of more than 14 million passengers between June and August, Emirates is once again positioning itself as a leader in international aviation.
Unbroken demand for international travel
Although many industries have been impacted by recent global events, Emirates is demonstrating impressive resilience. Dubai in particular, the airline’s main hub, has established itself as a particularly attractive holiday destination. In just three months, the fascinating desert city attracted two million travellers from all over the world.
German passengers like to fly with Emirates
The increase in German passengers travelling with Emirates is particularly noteworthy. In the summer months, the number of passengers from Germany rose by a whopping 57 per cent compared to the previous year. This corresponds to 63 weekly non-stop flights from major German cities such as Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf and Hamburg.
Worldwide expansion and partnerships
But Emirates is not only experiencing a boom in Germany. They have expanded their routes with the addition of Montreal and now offer daily flights to Birmingham, Nice, Taipei and Shanghai with their impressive flagship A380. However, the expansion does not stop here. Partnerships with other airlines such as Kenya Airways and Air Canada have also helped to expand its network and reach.
