On August 18, 2023, it’s “curtain up” for the 17th time on the pool deck of the small luxury ship EUROPA for the world of culinary delights. Host and chef of the EUROPA Tillman Fischer is looking forward to a guest appearance of numerous renowned colleagues who will spoil the guests at their stations and invite them to talk. The gourmet tour with EUROPAS Beste is a unique opportunity for guests to be pampered by the best chefs in Europe.
14 Michelin stars and four toques make MS EUROPA shine
The guests of the gourmet journey can look forward to the creations of 9 international top chefs, who together have 14 Michelin stars and 4 Gault Millau toques. Kevin Fehling, Hamburg 3-star cook, operates its Gourmet restaurant THE GLOBE by Kevin Fehling for more than three years on board. Julian Stowasser from LAKESIDE at The Fontenay Hamburg and René Frank from CODA in Berlin will also be there. Two other two-Michelin-starred chefs come from northern and southern Germany: Jan-Philipp Berner of the Gourmet Restaurant im Söl’ring Hof and Manuel Ulrich of the Ösch Noir restaurant. Austria is represented by top chef Hubert Wallner from the gourmet restaurant Hubert Wallner on Lake Wörthersee. Titti Qvarnström, considered the best female chef in Sweden, and Mr. William Drabble from the Seven Park Place restaurant in London, which has been awarded a Michelin star, round out the team of top chefs.
Winegrowers and gourmets from near and far
The culinary experiences are rounded off by selected gourmet specialists such as cheese affineur Bernard Antony and vintners Markus Schneider, Caroline Diel and Veuve Cliquot from Germany and France. Markus Rüsch from Altonaer Kaviar Import Haus and Jörg Fischer with his ice cream specialties from Giovanni L. are also on board. After-dinner liquor is provided by Matthias Sievert with his first-class “Spiritus Rex” brandies from Schleswig-Holstein. Boutique bar operator Gerhard Tsai usually offers seven drinks in his Vienna cocktail living room door 7. For the gourmet trip he has selected some of his best cocktails.

After the gourmet event, the EUROPA will cast off and set course through the Kiel Canal to Aerösköbing/Aerö in Denmark and Copenhagen before returning to Kiel on August 22. The short trip will include a wine podcast with Günther Jauch and etiquette training for interested guests. Musically, the epicurean voyage of the EUROPA will be accompanied by Tim Bendzko with an exclusive concert.
The journey of 18. to 22 August from Hamburg to Kiel inclusive Gourmetevent EUROPAS best is postable starting from 2,690 euro per person (with double occupancy, exkl. arrival and departure).
