Grand opening of the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark this milestone. Senior representatives of Emirates Palace Company (EPCO), including Chairman H.E. Mohammed Al Junaibi and Managing Director H.E. Sultan Al Hemeiri, were welcomed by James Riley, Group Chief Executive and Joanna Flint, Chief Commercial Officer of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The new design of the hotel group’s signature fan, created by Abu Dhabi-born multidisciplinary artist Ahmad Saeed Al Areef Al Dhaheri and inspired by the UAE’s famous tradition of pearl diving, was also unveiled during the celebration.
