Mandarin Oriental Athens: New Jewel of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group

Mandarin Oriental Athen

As early as summer 2027, a new star will shine in the luxury sky – the Mandarin Oriental Athens. This location is the result of a collaboration between BELT Riviera S.A., a joint venture between TEMES S.A. and HELLINIKON S.M.S.A., and the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Their plan is to develop a brand new hotel and luxury apartments on the beautiful Greek coast, all under the Mandarin Oriental name.

Insights into the new location

The planned investment includes a five-star hotel with 123 exquisite rooms and suites and 17 luxury apartments, all offering stunning views of the Saronic Gulf and direct sea access. Guests can expect a variety of gastronomic offerings and recreational facilities, where the legendary hospitality of the Mandarin Oriental Group comes to the fore.

Mandarin Oriental Athens offers exclusivity and comfort

The Mandarin Oriental Athens will additionally have function rooms for meetings and social events. It is located just a few minutes from the cosmopolitan Agios Kosmas Marina. In addition, guests can benefit from customized wellness therapies and beauty treatments at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental, with an emphasis on locally inspired programs.

Mandarin Oriental Athens: Unsurpassed view and design

The combination of modern design, unobstructed sea views and unbeatable location on a coastal beach in the heart of the Athens Riviera promises a unique destination for travelers. Following Costa Navarino, Mandarin Oriental Athens will be the group’s second hotel in Greece and will help establish the global brand in the Greek capital.

An investment in the future

This development demonstrates Mandarin Oriental Group’s confidence in Greece as a growing luxury destination. The driving force behind this project is LAMDA Development, a real estate holding company listed on the Athens Stock Exchange that invests in residential and office properties in Greece and Southeastern Europe. With the planned urban renewal of Ellinikon-Aghios Kosmas, including the former airport “Ellinikon”, LAMDA Development is taking a major step towards the largest private investment in Greece and one of the most significant urban renewal projects in Europe.
