Hotel Post Lermoos – Dreamlike location in the Alps

The family-run Hotel Post Lermoos in the picturesque community of Lermoos not only offers fantastic views of the south side of the Zugspitze massif, but is also a well-known gourmet address. We enjoyed the great view right after our arrival with a coffee and a piece of cake – that’s a good way to start. Housed in one of the spacious suites on the top floor and breathtaking views of the Alps, we were immediately hooked. The suites and rooms are very cozy and stylishly furnished. Some of the suites will soon get a fresh touch with new colors, high-quality fabrics as well as custom-made box spring mattresses, promising even more comfort and relaxation.

Multiple award winning wine cellar

The extremely cordial and humorous service in the Post Gourmet Stube is particularly worth mentioning. The gourmet cuisine can be tasted not only in the Gourmet Stube, but also at the included evening menus. The Alpine Haute Cuisine of Thomas Strasser and team convinces together with exquisite drops from the multiple award-winning wine cellar. These were expertly presented to us directly at the table and harmonized perfectly with the creative dishes. The culinary experience is perfectly rounded off by atmospheric music.

The hotel’s Alpine Spa also offers a comprehensive range of services. A special highlight here is the panoramic pine sauna house together with the outdoor brine pool and panoramic views of the surrounding mountain scenery. The spa’s vitality world with saunas, steam baths and various relaxation rooms leaves nothing to be desired – here you can really switch off and forget about everyday life. The offer of massages and beauty treatments is varied and professional. Immediately after the treatments, it is then wonderful to relax with a herbal tea and a warming neck pillow.

Starting point for hiking enthusiasts

The Hotel Post Lermoos is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts like us. We undertook several hiking routes directly from the hotel, which are all very well signposted. An absolute must is a visit to the nearby Zugspitze, the location for this is optimal. The view from the Zugspitze to the surrounding Alps is simply breathtaking. Overall our stay at the Hotel Post Lermoos was a great experience, we felt welcome from the beginning and were pampered all around. The location, amenities and gourmet cuisine won us over and we highly recommend a visit.
