The La Paulée Wine Festival, inspired by the French festival in Burgundy that celebrates the end of the grape harvest, is a highlight in the calendar of every wine fan. The sixth edition of this exceptional gastronomic week, hosted by Constance Hotels & Resorts, will take place in Mauritius from May 15 to 20, 2023.

Renowned winemakers such as Pierre Jean Villa, Charles Louis de Noue, Julien Shaal and Donovan Rall share their knowledge and experience against the stunning backdrop of the Constance Prince Maurice and Constance Belle Mare Plage resorts.

La Paulée: competition and gala evening
Another highlight of the festival is the competition to choose the “Best Sommelier of La Paulée” on Friday at the Deer Hunter restaurant of Constance Belle Mare Plage. On Saturday evening, Constance Prince Maurice will host the celebratory gala, featuring an aperitif with wine tasting and a tasty gourmet feast by Chef Kritesh Halkory and Chef-Pâtissier Stéphane Labastide.
The art of cheese making
This year there will be a special focus on the art of cheese making, presented by renowned cheesemaker Jules Mons. The La Paulée Wine Festival thus offers an all-round experience for wine lovers and gourmets, surrounded by brilliant white sandy beaches and turquoise blue waters in Mauritius.
