Alta, Norway: The aurora paradise
Discover Airlines will be operating two non-stop flights a week from Frankfurt to Alta Airport from winter 2024. Known as the “City of the Northern Lights“, Alta is a dream destination for anyone who wants to experience the magical natural spectacle of the Northern Lights. The city is located near the North Cape and offers a variety of activities such as dog sledding, northern lights safaris and overnight stays in igloo hotels in addition to aurora viewing.
Kittilä, Finland: A winter sports paradise
From 20 December 2024 to 28 March 2025, Discover Airlines will connect Frankfurt with Kittilä once a week. This remote destination in Finnish Lapland is a mecca for winter sports enthusiasts. Close to the airport is the Levi winter sports area, the largest and best-known ski centre in Finland, famous for its diverse slopes and high-quality winter sports facilities.
